Cliffside Park girl, 4, abused by Union City man, prosecutor says

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrestead a 49-year-old Union City man and charged him with sexually abusing a 4-year-old Cliffside Park girl.

Jessy White, of 325 49th Street, is being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail on charges of sexual assault and child endangerment — indicating that the crime involved some form of molesting.

The incident was initially reported to the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services, which immediately contacted the special unit, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

White, who is divorced and self-employed, is due for a first appearance in Cliffside Park Municipal Court on Thursday.
