Coast Guard Searches For Missing Jersey Shore Boater, Pair Rescued By Local Police (

One boater remained missing and two others were rescued after a boat capsized in the rough waters of Manasquan Inlet, authorities said. The U.S. Coast Guard was using a helicopter out of Atlantic City and a C-130 cargo plane out of North Carolina to assist in the search off of Point Pleasant, the Coast Guard said on Friday, Sept. 15. A 47-foot motor lifeboat from Manasquan Inlet also was searching the waters. 4 'Incredibly Lucky' Boaters Rescued Off Gloucester County: US Coast Guard
The U.S. Coast Guard rescued four people after their 12-foot vessel became disabled in the Delaware River near Chester Island, Gloucester County, authorities said. The owner and operator of the aluminum boat contacted watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay command center on Sunday, July 30. They said they were not wearing lifejackets and two of the people aboard were teenagers, ages 14 and 18, the Coast Guard said. A great white shark was spotted off the coast of Sea Isle City, and a boater caught it all on video. Jim Piazza of Media, Pennsylvania, posted the footage to Facebook. "Look at this monster.
