Four Inches Of Snow Forecasted Along Jersey Shore Overnight
Many parts of the Jersey Shore avoided the snow during a pre-Valentine's Day winter storm, but the coast doesn't appear to be dodging it this time. The National Weather Service said the Jersey Shore could see two to four inches of snow overnight and in the morning on Saturday, Feb. 17. All counties in South Jersey are under a winter weather advisory for the duration of the storm, with some winter storm warnings expected. Victim Ditched On Roadside After Being Carjacked By Passengers On I-195: Police
Two men are accused of stealing another man's vehicle while they were all driving together in Monmouth County, authorities said. Wall Township police said officers responded to a reported carjacking on Interstate 195 near the interchange with Route 34 at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28. Three men were heading to Asbury Park when two of the men stole the vehicle. Body Of Man, 51, Pulled From Water Off Jersey Shore
The body of a 51-year-old man was recovered from the water along the Jersey Shore Wednesday, authorities said. Crews found the Neptune man's body near a jetty off the Eighth Avenue beach around 5:30 a.m., Asbury Park Police Sgt. Michael Casey said. The incident was not considered suspicious and an autopsy was pending. Further details were not immediately released.

While Parallel Parking, Motorist Crashes Into Asbury Park Driving School, Police Say
A driver was attempting to parallel park when his car smashed through the front of a driving school in Asbury Park, authorities said. The crash occurred at 12:20 p.m. on Monday at 1014 Main St., Asbury Park police said. No one was hurt. The driver was trapped in the car, but safely rescued by first responders. The man was issued a summons for careless driving, police said. His name was not released. Cyclist Critical After Being Struck In Asbury Park
A bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Asbury Park Friday morning. The victim, whose identification was being withheld, was struck at the intersection of Main Street and 4th Avenue around 11:50 a.m., Asbury Park Police Sgt. Michael Casey said. He was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition in the ICU as of Friday evening, Casey said. The victim suffered head trauma, authorities said. A Monmouth County ex-con admitted in federal court that he tossed a loaded machine gun while being chased by police. Davon Harley, 30, of Neptune City, was arguing with a group in the yard of a local apartment complex this past February when city police arrived, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
