Car Dumped In NJ After Fatal Philly Carjacking: Police A 60-year-old man was beaten to death while being robbed of his car in Philadelphia's Northern Liberties neighborhood late on Thursday, Aug. 17, city police told Daily Voice.  It happened along the 300 block of Cambridge Street just before 10 p.m., the department said.  A group of men on motorcycles attacked the victim and made off with his Toyota Highlander, according to police. 18-Year-Old Killed In Head-On Atlantic County Crash: Police An 18-year-old driver from Egg Harbor City was killed in a head-on crash in Hamilton Township, authorities said. Jamyre Dewey Jr. was traveling east on Route 40 at 7:54 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 when his Mitsubishi Galant crossed the center line and crashed into a westbound Toyota Highlander, Hamilton Township police said.
