Gregory Yetman, of Helmetta, turned himself in to authorities, Jamesburg police said on Friday, Nov. 10. Yetman fled into the woods at approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, after authorities tried to serve him with a federal arrest warrant on Main Street in Helmetta, Jamesburg police said. Schools in Jamesburg and Spotswood were put in a shelter-in-place. It wasn't immediately clear which charges he is facing.

Michael D. Weber, 64, of Spotswood, stole the funds from the Plumstead-based Lakeside Rod and Gun Club in his role as treasurer between July 2017 and January 2021, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Weber was responsible for collecting and depositing the club’s membership dues and paying the club’s expenses. A 10-day quarantine was ordered for Spotswood High School students who attended the Saturday's homecoming dance after a student at the event tested positive, NJ Advance Media reported. Donna Piegaro, 53, of Spotswood was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which closed Route 9 southbound for more than nine hours from Old Bridge to Manalapan Township, a Marlboro police spokesman said.  The crash toppled a telephone pole onto the victim's Ford Edge and wires onto four other vehicles, Marlboro Captain Stephen Levy said. No one else was hurt, he said.
