South Jersey Woman, 41, Dies Of Injuries From Route 38 Crash
A 41-year-old woman from South Jersey died of her injuries from a four-vehicle crash last week in Burlington County. Angela Johnson of Sicklerville was driving her Cadillac SUV eastbound on Route 38 near milepost 19 in Southampton at about 4 p.m. on March 12, according to New Jersey State Police. Her SUV struck the side of an eastbound Toyota, State Police said. The SUV then veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a Freightliner truck before both the truck and SUV hit a Nissan, police said. Crash Closes Route 38 In Moorestown
A crash with downed power lines had closed a roadway in Burlington County. The crash occurred on Route 38 eastbound at Route 607 (Church Road) in Moorestown, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. All lanes remained closed at about 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 511nj.org reported.

Cherry Hill PD: Woman Made False Report That Man Impersonated Police, Pulled Her Over
A woman from Camden County filed a false report about a man impersonating police, pulling her over and trying to grab her neck, authorities said. Samantha M. Roman of Avon Road in Haddonfield was charged with making false statements, Cherry Hill police said on Monday. Last week, police in Cherry Hill said they were searching for a man who pulled the woman over, as reported here. The woman said she was pulled over on Aug. 16 about 1 p.m. on Route 38, police said last week. Pedestrian Killed Crossing Burlington County Street
A 63-year-old man from South Jersey was killed by a car as he tried to cross an intersection, authorities said. Forrest Honeycutt, 63, was struck while crossing Route 38 from Pine Street shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, Mount Holly police said. The car's driver stayed at the scene of the crash, police said. An investigation is continuing. The death was the first traffic fatality in Mount Holly this year and the seventh for all of Burlington County, according to reports.

Fatal Pedestrian Crashes In Burlington, Middlesex Counties
First responders in Burlington and Middlesex counties were called to separate, serious pedestrian crashes early Friday, authorities said. About 6 a.m. on Route 38 in Lumberton, EMS crews were en route to a man lying in the roadway with "obvious fatal injuries," according to an initial unconfirmed report. Medics were recalled and a request was made for the Fire Police Strike Team on Route 38 at Eayrestown Road, reports said.
