Bus Fatality Under Investigation In Lakewood The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash involving a New Jersey Transit bus, authorities said. A 33-year-old man, who has not been identified, was killed, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The fatal crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Monday at the Lakewood Bus Terminal on Route 88, Billhimer said. Authorities ID Man, 20, Killed In Lakewood Drive-By Shooting Authorities have identified the 20-year-old man killed during a drive-by shooting on Sunday night in Ocean County. At about 7:40 p.m, Lakewood police responded to reports of shots fired at 166 Tudor Court, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Lakewood Township Police Chief Gregory Meyer. A 9-1-1 caller said that a man had collapsed in the middle of the road, Billhimer and Meyer said.
