A new Amazon supermarket is about to open in Monmouth County, officials said. The Amazon Fresh in Eatontown will officially open on Thursday, June 20, the company said in a news release. Ramapo-lndian Hills Regional High School has hired a new superintendent. In a unanimous vote on Tuesday, May 28, the RIH Board of Education voted 9-0 in favor of approving Dr. Ronnie Tarchichi's contract, which goes into effect July 1. The board also voted 7-0 with two abstentions to terminate the contract of interim superintendent Dr. James Baker. A new $200 million health and wellness center is hours away from breaking ground at none other than a NJ Transit station. No Vaccine, No Job: 118 NJ Hospital Network Employees Fired
More than 100 employees of New Jersey's largest health care system were fired for refusing to comply with its COVID vaccination policy, officials said. Amazon has opened a new delivery station in Avenel, creating more than 300 new local jobs, officials said. More than 2,700 employees were laid off from Tropicana Atlantic City with state-ordered casino closures extended another month, according to a WARN notice filed with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
