Mount Laurel Woman Sentenced In Mom's Brutal Stabbing Death A 27-year-old woman from Mount Laurel has been sentenced to 30 years in New Jersey State Prison for the stabbing death of her mother, authorities said. Marisa Rivera must serve the entire prison term before becoming eligible for parole, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw. Rivera was convicted in January of first-degree murder and weapons offenses in the death of 56-year-old Denise DeNapoli, who was discovered in the apartment they shared in Ramblewood Village, the prosecutor said. Woman Convicted Of Killing Mother In Shared Mount Laurel Apartment: Prosecutor A 27-year-old woman has been found guilty of killing her mom in 2019 in their shared South Jersey apartment, authorities said. Marisa Rivera was convicted of murder and two weapons offenses in the Sept. 6, 2019 killing of Denise DeNapoli, 56, in Mount Holly, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said. The ruling was handed down by Criminal Court Judge Terrence R. Cook, who conducted a bench trial at the defendant’s request. Sentencing was scheduled for March 8.
