Tractor-Trailer Fire Delays Traffic On New Jersey Turnpike A tractor-trailer fire delayed traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill, authorities said. Southbound lanes remained closed as of 9:25 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21. The crash occurred near Exit 4 at about 7:30 a.m., according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s traffic website. There were injuries, 511nj.org said. A medevac helicopter was en route, according to an unconfirmed report. Video from 6ABC Action News showed the charred front of a truck and multiple emergency vehicles. New Jersey State Police were not immediately available for comment.
