Social media tips lead to the arrest of a Middlesex man accused of shoplifting from a Burlington County grocery store.
State Police on Sept. 9 asked for the public's help in identifying a man who stole items from the Hainesport ShopRite.
Several tips subsequently identified Jamal Boone, 46, as a suspect, police said.
Troopers located Boone last Saturday, and arrested him without incident at a home in Mount Holly, State Police said.
He was charged with shoplifting, eluding, obstruction of administrative law, obstructing highways and other public passage, terroristic threats, criminal trespass, false imprisonment and criminal restraint.
Boone was lodged at the Burlington County Jail pending a bail detention hearing.
