Child Sexually Assaulted By Englewood Man In Dumont: Prosecutor
A trio of Bergen County men were arrested in a string of sexual assaults dating back to 2023, authorities announced Monday, March 10.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said that Carlos L. Sibri, 33, of Hackensack; Jonathan E. Rodriguez, 35, of Englewood; and Hector R. Estrada Roca, 37, of Teaneck, have all been lodged in the county jail.

The Dumont community is mourning the loss of John P. Daly, a dedicated father, coach, and carpenter, who died on Friday, Feb. 21. He was 55 years old.
Born in the Bronx, NY, John built a career as a carpenter with Local #157 at the Bloomberg Data Center in Orangeburg, NY, according to his obituary on the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home website.
Beyond his work, John was deeply involved in his community, serving as a coach for Dumont Junior Football and Dumont Little League Baseball. He was also a member of the Dumont Police Reserves for many years, his obituary states.

The death of Michael John Kormanik, a Paramus resident and well-known employee at his family's Dumont deli, died on Tuesday, Sept. 24, according to his obituary on the Shook Funeral Home website.

Erratic Dumont Porsche Driver Found With Loaded Rifle, Ammo In New Milford, Police Say
A 47-year-old Porsche driver was found with military-style ammunition and a loaded AR-style rifle during a routine traffic stop in Bergen County this week, police said.
New Milford Police Officer Dennis Calacione was called to Madison Avenue for an erratic Porsche Cayenne driver Monday, Sept. 23 around 10:40 a.m., Police Chief Brian Clancy said.
The officer found the grey vehicle in the parking lot of New Milford Liquors, where he made contact with the driver, Christopher J. Swift, of Dumont, Clancy said.
