Ruth Silverstein, 90, Former Suffern Resident
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Ruth Silverstein -- a resident of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Suffern, died on Tuesday, Feb. 14. She was 90.
Silverstein was born in the Bronx.
Funeral services were held on Friday morning, Feb. 17, at Hellman Memorial Chapels, in Spring Valley. Interment was at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, in New Hempstead, with Rabbi Berkman officiating.
Inna Jacobs, 51, Franklin Lakes Resident
FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Inna Jacobs, of Franklin Lakes, died on Sunday, Feb. 19. She was 51.
Born in Minsk, Belarus, Jacobs immigrated to the United States in 1979, settling first in Brooklyn before moving to Franklin Lakes 20 years ago. She was a managing director of Godman Sachs of Jersey City.
She is survived by her husband, Jake Jacobs; children Max and Zoe Jacobs of Franklin Lakes; brother Dimitry Elyashkevich of Los Angeles; and parents Aron and Maya Elyashkevich of Brooklyn.

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Veronica (Sebock) Urban, of Elmwood Park, died on Friday, Feb. 17. She was 89.
Born in Foster, Pennsylvania, Urban lived in Elmwood Park since 1955.
She is survived by her sons, Gene and his wife Maureen, Michael and his wife Diane, and Paul and his wife Ann; grandchildren Gino, Craig, Todd, Jessie, Stephanie, Michael, Mariah, Madeline, Richard and Thaydra; and great-grandchildren Vincent, Steven, Shannon, Stephen, Emily, Matthew, Sophie and Eleanor.

NORTH ROCKLAND, N.Y. -- The North Rockland Red Raiders brought home their division title at the Section 1 cheerleading championships on Saturday, lohud.com reports, in a fitting tribute to longtime coach Lauren Gould, who died unexpectedly this past December.

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Rosita J. Uy, of Bergenfield, died on Tuesday, Feb. 14. She was 91.
Born in the Philippines, Uly was an elementary school teacher there before she retired. Shen then immigrated to the United States, where she lived with her daughter's family, in Bergenfield.

NORTHVALE, N.J. -- MaryJane Brondi, of Northvale, died on Wednesday, Feb. 15. She was 96.
Brondi was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony's Church, in Northvale. She was a charter member of the Northvale VFW Post 366 Ladies Auxiliary, a founding member of the James F. McGuire Senior Center, as well as the Golden Agers.
She spent many hours as a volunteer with the Pascack Valley Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.

HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- Mary C. (Montgomery) Noone -- a Ho-Ho-Kus resident, formerly of Ridgewood -- died on Thursday, Feb. 9. She was 80.

Born in the Philippines, Cinco lived there for 29 years before immigrating to the United States. He lived in Los Angeles before moving to Saddle Brook, Lodi and then Maywood.
