Ruth Silverstein, 90, Former Suffern Resident SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Ruth Silverstein -- a resident of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Suffern, died on Tuesday, Feb. 14. She was 90. Silverstein was born in the Bronx. Funeral services were held on Friday morning, Feb. 17, at Hellman Memorial Chapels, in Spring Valley. Interment was at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, in New Hempstead, with Rabbi Berkman officiating.
