DUMONT, N.J. – A moving company employee wanted by police had 70 Xanaxes, pot packaged for sale, drug paraphernalia -- including digital scales and baggies -- and a blank 9mm pistol when authorities said they arrested him in Dumont.

Paul Edmonds, 21, of Lodi was living on Ontario Street to avoid arrest for an outstanding warrant while selling drugs, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal, said when the residence was raided Thursday by his detectives and Dumont police accompanied by a K-9 unit from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

Edmonds was being held in the Bergen County Jail pending a bail hearing, charged with various drug and weapons offenses.
