BERGENFIELD, N.J. — Nearly 120 Acme employees will lose their jobs come Nov. 7, as Bergenfield Acme prepares to shut its doors, NorthJersey.com reports.
Acme took over the New Bridge Road facility less than two years ago, when A&P and Pathmark filed for bankruptcy.
The store has allegedly been struggling to gain traction, and in February slashed 100 full-time jobs to part-time across North Jersey, the article says.
