A former Jersey Shore gymnastics coach has been accused of sexually assaulting three of his teenage athletes, authorities announced. Sasha C. Raught, 55, of Manchester Township is charged with aggravated sexual assault and three counts of sexual assault, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago. An investigation by members of the MCPO Special Victims Bureau revealed that Raught entered into sexual relationships with three of his former athletes when they were each teenagers, Santiago said. UPDATED: Residents in Ocean County were allowed to return to their homes after a wildfire was 60 percent contained Wednesday, April 12. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service made substantial progress in Manchester Township fighting the fire that destroyed 3,859 acres. A 27-year-old woman of Manchester was arrested after offering to buy clothes from a man and then dousing him with gasoline and robbing him, authorities said. An unidentified man, 18,, had arranged via SnapChat to meet a woman outside a Dollar General Store on Route 37 in Manchester to sell sneakers and other clothing, police said. A fire in a vacant structure earlier this week was intentionally set, authorities said. On Tuesday, Manchester police and Manchester Fire Department were dispatched on a report of a fire at a vacant structure on Ridgeway Road. Authorities: Toms River Man, 23, Used Brass Knuckles In Motel Robbery
Authorities arrested a Toms River man in connection with armed robbery at the Travel Inn and Suites. Daniel M. Balwierczak, 23, was charged with robbery, theft, assault and weapons charges on Wednesday, Lakehurst Police Officer Robert Schroeck said in a statement.
