The 1998 Ford Ranger caught fire at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, at the park-and-ride at 250 Silverwood Lane in Prince Frederick, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal. The passerby reported the burning pickup with its owner at the scene, prompting a response from the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department.
