New Traffic Pattern To Begin On Southbound I-95 At Fort McHenry Tunnel
Drivers should expect a new traffic pattern at the Fort McHenry Tunnel starting over the weekend, reports WBAL. Beginning Sunday, Jan. 15, there will be two highway-speed lanes and two standard toll plaza lanes on southbound I-95. Southbound tolls will be collected by a new overhead electronic toll gantry, the outlet continues. The two left lanes will use the left lane of the tunnel and those using the Exit 55/Key Highway lanes should use the right tube of the tunnel. Embattled former Baltimore City Assistant State’s Attorney Adam Lane Chaudry has reportedly been disbarred as he faces years in prison for using his power to stalk two former romantic partners. Archdiocese Of Baltimore Paying Legal Fees For Group Looking To Block Sex Abuse Record: Report
Despite coming out publicly saying they will not oppose the release of Maryland AG Brian Frosh’s 463-page report depicting the sexual abuse of hundreds of victims, the Archdiocese of Baltimore is reportedly paying legal fees to a group seeking to do just that, according to a new WBAL report. Maryland HS Briefly Evacuated, Students Fall Ill From Odor, Report States
A high school building in Maryland was temporarily evacuated on Tuesday morning when several students fell ill, according to a WBAL report. Glen Burnie High School Principal Kevin Carr sent a letter to parents advising that several students were treated at the health office and were taken to area hospitals as a precaution for evaluation, while the building was temporarily evacuated and then safely reopened a few minutes later, the outlet states. Maryland Police Chief Resigns After Being Placed On Administrative Leave: Report
Taneytown Mayor Bradley Wantz has accepted Police Chief Jason Etzler's resignation after he was placed on administrative leave for "an intra-departmental personnel matter," according to a new WBAL report. Last week in Carroll County, Etzler, who has been with the department for two decades, was placed on temporary leave from the agency for undisclosed reasons. University of Maryland's Capital One Field football stadium will have a new name this season after a partnership was announced with state-chartered credit union, SECU, announced the school. Five people were shot at a home in a Maryland cul-de-sac early on Friday morning, according to multiple reports.
