Murder-Suicide Victims Mourned In Harford County
Support was mounting for three family members killed in a quadruple murder-suicide last weekend in Harford County. Sherlyn Ann Pitts, 65; her niece, Sheena Yvonne Smothers, 38; and Sheena's 17-year-old son, Jaylin, died on Saturday, Aug. 26 in Joppatowne. Police say 34-year-old Devin Brown shot them on Trimble Road, then turned the gun on himself. Sherlyn was his mother. A GoFundMe page for the family says Sherlyn was the oldest of six siblings, and "was soon about to retire from a job where she was cherished, loved and admired for her positive and comforting attitude.…

Police ID Family Killed In Quadruple Maryland Murder-Suicide
An apparent murder-suicide is under investigation in Maryland after four people were found dead over the weekend. Shortly after 11:15 a.m. on Saturday morning, Aug. 26, deputies from the sheriff’s office were called to the 300 block of Trimble Road in Joppatowne (Harford County) to investigate what they thought initially was an active shooter situation, the sheriff's office said. Three Adults, Teen Killed In Mass Shooting Inside Maryland Apartment, Sheriff Says
New details have been released by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office following a fatal shooting that left four people dead in a Joppatowne apartment. Shortly after 11:15 a.m. on Saturday morning, deputies from the sheriff’s office were called to the 300 block of Trimble Road to investigate what they thought initially was an active shooter situation.
