A 70-year-old Shippensburg resident is in the hospital in Maryland following a fire on Tuesday evening, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Feb. 1. Deborah Westbrook's single-family home at 303 Dwelling Court had a fire break out near the entryway at 5:48 p.m. on Jan. 30, Trooper First Class Kemerer detailed in the release. A two-year-long investigation has led to the arrest of 37 people from Pennsylvania and Maryland, the York County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday. Grandpa Killed In Head-On Crash Into Tractor-Trailer, PA Police
A 69-year-old grandpa died at the scene of a head-on crash on Monday, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Aug. 24, 2023. Ernest Bowens of Shippensburg was driving a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder south on the 9000 block of Olde Scotland Road in Southampton Township when he crossed over the double yellow line for an unknown reason, state police explained in a release.
