Maryland-National Park Police in Montgomery County announced this week that Hyattsville resident Jose Ivan Cordova-Blanco has been arrested for an incident reported on Saturday, Aug. 17. Two teens were hospitalized overnight when a gunman began firing at party-goers during a birthday celebration at a Montgomery County park. The Maryland-National Capital Park Police say that the agency has launched an investigation into a shooting after a 15-year-old boy and girl were shot at Clearspring Local Park on Scenery Drive in Germantown.
