A 22-year-old Maryland man is facing a lifetime in prison after being convicted at a two-week trial of sexually assaulting his victim on a cruise. Abingdon resident Jalen Thomas Kelley was indicted last years on charges for an incident on New Year's Day on a Carnival Legend cruise ship that was set to depart out of Baltimore, officials say. A 21-year-old Maryland man may spend the rest of his life in prison for an alleged sexual assault on a cruise. Abingdon resident Jalen Thomas Kelley has been indicted on charges for an alleged incident on New Year's Day on a Carnival Legend cruise ship that was set to depart out of Baltimore, federal authorities announced. Woman Injured On Cruise Ship Airlifted To Safety By Maryland State Police
Maryland State Police made a daring rescue on Sunday night after a 68-year-old woman was injured when she fell on a cruise ship in Chesapeake Bay that was bound for the Bahamas. A state police helicopter was called in by the US Coast Guard in Baltimore at approximately 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, to come to the aid of the woman, who suffered injuries less than five hours into their trip on the 960-foot Carnival Legend ship.
