A man who is no stranger to law enforcement was spotted on Sunday by a St. Mary's County Sheriff's deputy and taken back into custody after removing his ankle monitor last month, authorities announced on Monday. Man Once Found With Fentanyl Busted With Crack In Routine Maryland Traffic Stop: Sheriff
A man wanted on an outstanding warrant was found with drugs in a routine St. Mary's County traffic stop, nearly two years after he was found with fentanyl in someone else's car, authorities said. St. Mary's County Sheriff's Deputy Tyler Westphal stopped a 2005 Honda Civic for operating without a front registration plate and additional safety equipment violations around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9 in Lexington Park, the sheriff's office said in a news release.
