Man Convicted For Fatal Shooting At Maryland Fire Department Carnival
A second man has been convicted for his role in the murder of a 16-year-old at the annual Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department's Carnival, the St. Mary's County State's Attorney's Office announced. Lexington Park resident Thomas Moreland, 21, is facing life in prison after being convicted this week to first-degree murder for the summer shooting in 2022 that left a 16-year-old dead and another teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, officials say.
