Many schools in Maryland and Virginia will be closed on Wednesday as the region continues to contend with the latest batch of winter weather that brought inches of snow and ice. A 21-year-old shooting suspect from Virginia has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a rideshare driver in Maryland on New Year's Day, authorities announced. Oluwatosin Adetula, 36, died at an area hospital days after he was shot on Wednesday, Jan. 1 while working in Cottage City, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. Dozens of Party City locations in the DMV region are among the hundreds set to be closed as the company announced it is going out of business.
