A shocking carjacking in Southeast Baltimore ended with the arrest of five suspects—including a 9-year-old boy, on Sunday night, authorities announced. Two tens are facing charges after being busted during a drug deal in Montgomery County, police say. Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police were in the Glenmont area conducting an investigation when they spotted two people in the middle of a deal on Georgian Wood Place. An 18-year-old buyer from Riverdale and his 16-year-old seller were both detained without incident. A student at a Charles County middle school will avoid any criminal charges due to his age after allegedly making threats of violence, according to the sheriff's office. Last week, an SRO at Milton Somers Middle School in La Plata was tipped off about comments a student made threatening violence toward the building. Two teen brothers caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage at a Frederick County playground after playing with fire and burning some of the equipment, according to the sheriff's office.
