A Pennsylvania State Police trooper previously arrested for stalking a witness is now accused of causing head trauma to an infant and endangering two other children, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Tuesday, July 1.
Christopher S. Young, 35, of Lancaster County, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and recklessly endangering another person, following a joint investigation by the Attorney General’s Office and the State Police Bureau of Integrity and Professional Standards.

Suicidal Knife-Wielding Man Shot By Officers In Maryland, Police Say
A knife-wielding man is recovering in the hospital after being shot by police in Maryland during a confrontation in Baltimore County, authorities announced.
The shooting was reported around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, in the 1000 block of Pine Road in Essex, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Officers had been called to the area for a report of a missing “suicidal subject,” police said.
When they arrived, they located the man, who has not been identified, armed with a knife.

Men, Woman Charged With Knifepoint Viers Mill Road Carjacking In Montgomery County, Police Say
Two weeks after a man was carjacked at knifepoint near a Montgomery County gas station, the three people who planned it out have been apprehended for their roles in the conspiracy, police say.
Detectives announced on Monday that three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to a Viers Mill Road carjacking earlier this month in Silver Spring.
Those charged:
Lascelles Alonzo Greenwood, 27, of Silver Spring;
Alei Imani Cook, 27, who has no fixed address;
Dewayne Davis, 35, who has no known address.
