A private jet headed to Maryland crashed while taking off from a Pennsylvania airport Wednesday morning, Oct. 7, prompting a major emergency response, officials said.
The crash happened at Bedford County Airport in Bedford, where emergency crews were called to the scene late Wednesday morning, according to emergency dispatchers, WJAC 6 NBC reported.
The crash was not fatal, and an investigation into what happened is underway, the police confirmed to WTAJ CBS. Additional information about possible injuries was not immediately available.
