Man Wanted In Connection To Quadruple Stabbing In Maryland Apprehended After Search: Police A suspect wanted for a quadruple stabbing earlier this month in Montgomery County has been apprehended, authorities announced on Wednesday. Ricky Lee Dyson, Jr. was arrested at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30 by members of the Rockville Police Department following a lengthy investigation into the stabbing.  According to police, at around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, officers were called to the area of Dawson Avenue and Upton Street, where officers were met by a large crowd and blood at the scene.  It was determined that a stabbing had occurred, and Dyson was identified as a s…

Community Mourns After Death Of Veteran Rockville County Police Lieutenant Alan Rawlins A beloved former member of the Rockville Police Department has passed away, announced officials.  Former Lieutenant Alan Rawlins died in the early morning morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 5, according to the Rockville Police Department. Rawlins serviced with the RCPD for 27 years, from April 1986 until July 2013. Even after his retirement, he remained a friend and devoted member of the Rockville community.
