An officer employed in the Canine Section of the Prince George's County Police Department is facing animal cruelty charge for his alleged mistreatment of Daisy, a 2-year-old bloodhound assigned to him, authorities announced. On July 14, Cpl. A child suffered critical injuries and two adults were hurt when a hail of gunfire erupted during a Fourth of July celebration in Prince George's County, according to officials.
