The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a local man early Christmas morning. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Darin Burns Jr. of Upper Marlboro, was killed after his vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree in the 12000 block of Duley Station Road. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Dec. 25 and found Burns Jr. inside the wrecked vehicle, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating a fatal crash in Prince George's County that left one man dead early Tuesday morning. The single-vehicle crash was reported around 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Piney Branch Road, according to the police department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. An investigation has been launched following a triple fatal crash involving a senior-living assisted living facility bus and dump truck in Charles County, state police say. Shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday morning, police say the bus was heading west on Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy, when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and struck the dump truck, which was heading east, head-on.
