Meth, Guns Seized After Harley With Blocked Plate Pulled Over, Police Say
A Harley rider’s slightly obscured license plate led to a traffic stop in Virginia that ended with meth, weapon seizures, and two people in handcuffs, according to police.
The stop happened on Lafayette Boulevard on Tuesday, July 29, when an officer on patrol spotted a black Harley with its rear plate partially covered by metal netting at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive, Fredericksburg Police said.
When the bike was pulled over, officers identified the driver as Louis Buttice III and the passenger as Amber Sullivan.

Maryland Man Fires Shots At Victim During Maryland Dispute, Police Say
A Maryland man is behind bars after allegedly firing multiple shots at another person during a heated overnight argument, police said.
Officers with the Hagerstown Police Department responded to the 200 block of W. Franklin Street around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, for a report of shots fired.
“Within minutes, officers were able to identify the suspect from city surveillance cameras, locate him and place him under arrest,” HPD said in a statement.
That suspect, Charles Anthony Rodgers, 38, was found outside his home in the 200 block of W. Franklin and taken into custody, officials said. …

A 3-year-old girl shot while sitting in a parked car in Washington, DC has died, police said, and the case is now being investigated as a homicide.
Honesty Cheadle, of Southeast DC, was struck by gunfire around 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, in the 1000 block of 14th Street SE, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
She was inside a parked vehicle with her family when at least one suspect “began discharging a firearm in the block,” police said.
