Roy Walters, 57, was found with apparent gunshot wounds inside his apartment in the 1100 block of Parsons Road around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, authorities said.  Walters was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel from the Salisbury Fire Department. Hit-Run Driver Slams Into Parked Maryland State Police Car On I-695 In Baltimore County Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help to track down a driver who slammed into a trooper’s parked vehicle on I-695 and fled the scene. The crash happened shorty after 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, when a trooper from the Golden Ring Barrack was assisting a motorist on the right shoulder of I-695 near Windsor Mill Road, police said. For unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the stationary patrol car, which had its emergency lights activated. The trooper was outside the vehicle at the time and was not injured, officials said. Medical Examiner IDs Manner Of Death After Human Remains Found In Baltimore Police in Baltimore are seeking the public's assistance as they attempt to identify human remains found decomposing more than a year ago. Late in the afternoon of Sept. 5, 2023, officers were called to the back of the 800 block of North Fremont Avenue to probe reports of a dead body that was found in the area.
