Officers were called to the area of Annapolis Road and Cooper Lane to investigate a two-vehicle crash that killed Michael Ray Sr. around 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 5. Investigators say that Ray was driving east on Annapolis Road when he was struck by a westbound vehicle as he attempted to turn onto Cooper Road. Zelalem Yirga Adamu, 40, was reportedly struck around 1 a.m., Sunday, March 26 in the 6600 block of Annapolis Road, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.  Investigators say that the driver of the striking vehicle was traveling west when he struck Adamu in the roadway, killing him.
