A District man will spend decades in prison after pleading guilty mid-trial for an attempted murder that was caught on camera in Maryland, authorities announced. The 22-year-old saw the writing on the wall and admitted his guilt in the middle of a jury trial earlier this year in connection to his role in a shooting in a well-known Silver Spring alleyway following a wild chase in June 2022, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. A 63-year-old District man is facing murder charges after a person was found stabbed to death in a Prince George's County Park. Ronald Brisbon, also of DC, was arrested and charged with murder on federal lands in connection to the fatal stabbing of Jeffrey Strong, 38, at Greenbelt Park on Monday morning. Multiple agencies worked together on Wednesday morning to rescue a person who found themselves in a perilous position in the Potomac River.
