Person 'Clinging To Rock' In Potomac River Rescued In Montgomery County
Multiple agencies worked together on Wednesday morning to rescue a person who found themselves in a perilous position in the Potomac River.
Early on Aug. 7, US Park Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel teamed up to make a water rescue after a swimmer got stuck.
According to officials, boats, helicopters, and land crews were all involved in the rescue near the C&O Canal Lock 8 and Wades Island.

Around 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, members of the Baltimore EMS assisted in delivering a healthy baby boy, according to Baltimore Fire.
The boy was blessed with the name Timothy, and the newborn was sure to bless one of the paramedics that arrived to welcome him to the world with his own special greeting: by peeing on him.
