Traffic Slowed After Overturned Truck Spills Debris Into Busy Montgomery County Roadway
Some motorists were held up on Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery County when a dump truck overturned and spilled debris into a busy roadway. Fourth District units were called at around 2 p.m. on Oct. 9 to a stretch of Layhill Road near Norbeck Road, which led to delays for some travelers heading through the area in the area of Aspen Hill. Two brothers busted for at least two burglaries at area residences and are facing charges after being found with stolen items in a Catonsville home, police say. A man was found guilty of assault and weapons offenses for his role in a shooting outside a Montgomery County restaurant that left five people injured last year. A 77-year-old woman from Montgomery County was killed and a man taken to the hospital following a two-car crash Monday afternoon, March 11, police said.
