Two Injured After CSX Train Strikes Vehicle In Maryland
Two people were injured after their vehicle was struck by a CSX train early on Friday morning, according to the Prince George's Fire/EMS Department. Shortly after 6 a.m. on Oct. 11, officers were called to the area of 52nd and Kenilworth Avenues where there was a reported strike involving a car on the tracks. Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken by paramedics to area hospitals, officials said. There were temporary delays in the area while the scene was cleared. Freight Train Kills Pedestrian In Maryland
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a freight train Monday, July 10 in Maryland, officials said. The northbound CSX train struck the person near East Deer Park and Railroad Street in Gaithersburg sometime before 10:45 a.m., a spokesperson for the police department said.
