Icy Mix On Track To Slam Region Later This Week
Just as a storm bringing snowfall to parts of the Northeast has winded down, a new system on track for later in the week is expected to bring another round of wintry weather to the region. While there's still uncertainty surrounding the track and strength of the new system on track for later in the week, forecasters are predicting an icy mix for most of the region Thursday, Dec. 15 into Friday, Dec. 16. Projected Snowfall Totals Released For Storm System On Track For Region
The first projected snowfall totals have been released for a storm system headed to the region in the second half of the weekend. The system is on track for Sunday, Dec. 11, according to the National Weather Service. "A general 1-3 inches of snow is in store over part of the interior Northeast from the storm," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson said. One couple's company was forced to pay $57,332 in fines for violating child labor laws at 13 McDonald’s franchises in Pennsylvania, according to an announcement by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division on Dec. 5. A 70-year-old Maryland man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Pennsylvania during the snowstorm on Tuesday, Nov. 15, authorities say.
