A 41-year-old man who purchased human body parts from a woman in Arkansas through Facebook has been sentenced in a Pennsylvania court on Tuesday, March 5. Jeremy Pauley, originally of Enola, Cumberland County but most recently of Thompson, Susquehanna County, has been sentenced to two years of probation for his role in a national illegal human body parts selling scheme involving a funeral home and the Harvard morgue, as Daily Voice previously reported. Maryland AG Reaches Massive Settlement with Google Over Location Tracking Practices
Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh has announced that his Consumer Protection Division as well as 39 other attorneys general have reached a $391.5 million multi-state settlement with Google over its location tracking practices relating to Google Account settings. Maryland has ranked the highest in the nation for political engagement according to a new study released by WalletHub. With Midterm Election Day coming up, WalletHub compared the 50 states based on 10 key indicators of political engagement.
