Some lanes were blocked on Monday morning in Anne Arundel County when a tractor-trailer overturned and spilled debris into the northbound lanes of I-97. An alert was issued by police shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 when the truck - for unknown reasons - crashed near the ramp to westbound Route 32. One person was killed and 18 others hospitalized when an SUV driver crashed into a Greyhound bus on Thursday morning in Howard County. Police say that at approximately 3:25 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, a driver in a Buick Enclave was traveling west in the eastbound lanes on Route 32 when it struck the bus, which had 38 passengers on board at the time of the collision. One person died and 18 others were hurt in a crash between a passenger car and Greyhound bus on Route 32 in Howard County early Thursday, Aug. 31. A Jessup man is dead after losing control of his vehicle and running off the roadway in Howard County, authorities say. Ivan Claude Merrill Jr., 59, reportedly lost control of the vehicle on Route 1 near Route 32, landing in a wooded drainage area around 10:41 a.m., Monday, Aug. 29, according to Howard County police.
