An Annapolis man is dead after a horrific single-vehicle drunk driving collision over the weekend, authorities say.
Russell Henry Dandridge, 58, was killed after Lamar Rondell Williams, 53, crashed the vehicle they were traveling in while under the influence of alcohol, around 7:15 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, according to Anne Arundel County police.
Investigators say that Williams crashed the vehicle in to a utility pole while traveling south on Solomons Island Road near eastbound Route 665.

One person was killed and another hospitalized after a driver in Anne Arundel County failed to negotiate a curve and violently crashed over the guardrail and into a tree next to the North River, officials announced.

Maryland Rigger Suffers Broken Sternum, Bad Whiplash In Crash
A rigger from the Baltimore area was recovering after a car crash left her with bad whiplash and a broken sternum.
Amanda Stover was heading home from work when she was struck by a driver with expired tags, a warrant and no insurance, around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, according to a GoFundMe page launched in her support.
Stover's injuries have left her unable to work or look after her family effectively.
"She must be careful in her breathing and lifting anything," says the page, which had launched more than $8,500 as of Friday, March 18.

Police ID 3 Killed In Maryland Crash
Three people are dead after a head-on crash in Charles County, according to NBC Washington.
The accident happened on Jan. 23 just before 8 p.m., the victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the intersection of Hawthorne Roade and Ripley way, according to Charles County Fire officials.
The victims have been identified as as Patrick Bowie, Jr., 44, Tineka Palmer, 35, and Tyron Carroll, 33, Maryland State Police said.
