Deadly Domestic: Woman Found Dead, Baltimore Man Arrested Near Shared Home, Police Say
Baltimore police arrested a man accused of killing a woman inside their shared home on Monday, Dec. 17, authorities announced.
Charles Meyers, 46, was charged with murder and assault after officers found Krystal Praharnpap, 42, dead in their home on the 1000 block of Quantril Way, officials said.
Members of the Baltimore Police Department were called to the home around 7:45 p.m. on Monday night to investigate a reported assault.
After forcing entry, officers found Praharnpap suffering from severe traumatic injuries, and first responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

A high-speed pursuit ended in dramatic fashion after a motorcycle rider crashed into a curb and was caught with a stolen bike in Calvert County, authorities said.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, shortly after 3:15 p.m. p.m., a corporal from the sheriff's office stopped two black sport-style motorcycles speeding southbound on Southern Maryland Boulevard near Town Center Boulevard in Dunkirk, according to police, but that was just the beginning of a long afternoon.

A convicted felon living in a luxury Baltimore apartment was found guilty of possessing fentanyl and firearms, including a "ghost gun," in connection with drug trafficking, federal officials announced Monday.

Trevon Gardner, 23, was sentenced Friday, Dec. 6, by U.S. District Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher to 12 years behind bars, followed by five years of supervised release, for the armed carjacking of Baltimore Police Department Detective Aaron Cain, according to the US Attorney’s Office.
