Some lanes were closed following a crash in Montgomery County that left a vehicle on its side and two people trapped inside on Wednesday afternoon. First responders were called shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 to the intersection of Clopper Road and Quince Orchard in Gaithersburg, where there was a reported crash with an entrapment. Fireworks led to a fiery Fourth of July for some first responders in Montgomery County who had to contend with several incidents on Thursday night. First responders were busy on July 4 as they responded to multiple fires that were reported across the county overnight. Crash Investigation Leads To Miles-Long Delays On I-295 In Anne Arundel County
Traffic was tied up on Tuesday afternoon in the northbound lanes of I-295 in Anne Arundel County as crews investigated a reported crash. Shortly before 1:40 p.m. on July 2, first responders were called to a stretch of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Arundel Mills Boulevard, where there was a reported crash with injuries. Workman passed away the morning of Friday, Sept. 2, after being involved in a motorcycle accident on his way to work the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 31, announced the Baltimore City Fire Chief. A community in North Carolina is honoring a first responder from Maryland who suddenly lost his life at the start of the month. Anthony Donald DiFilippo died at the age of 36 on Tuesday, Mar. 1 while visiting his family.
