Members of the department were called to the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue NW shortly before 1 a.m. on Oct. 17 last year, where there was reports of a man down after being accosted in the area.  Upon arrival, officers found Northwest DC resident Reggie Brown suffering from what was described by police as "trauma consistent with an assault."  He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.…
