Accused Killer Arrested After Lewisdale Murder Last Month
A Laurel man has been arrested in connection to a murder in Lewisdale last month, authorities say. Rudis Alfaro, 29, was taken into custody after being accused of the fatal shooting of Irvin Paredes, 30, on Wednesday, Aug. 24, according to Prince George's County police. Detectives discovered Paredes suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot in the 2300 block of University Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. that August night after reports of a shooting.
