A beloved teacher has been identified as the 70-year-old woman killed in a Baltimore County house fire on Tuesday afternoon. Catonsville resident Kathleen Benedick died after she was found suffering from cardiac arrest inside a home in the 400 block of Lambeth Road that went up in flames. Crews from the Baltimore County Fire Department were called to the home at around 1:50 p.m. on Jan. 23, where they were met by smoke coming from the front of the residence, and were advised that there was someone unaccounted for. Burn Victim Dies Days After Catonsville Fire, Officials Say
Officials say that a 63-year-old man has died days after he was injured in a Catonsville fire. Catonsville resident Jeffrey Thomas Swimm, suffered severe injuries in a Tuesday, March 28 when a blaze broke out at approximately 11 a.m. in the 500 block of Ingleside Avenue that was visible from the second floor, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. During search and rescue efforts, crews located Swimm, who was “seriously injured” on the second floor. Woman Killed After Leaving Mazda Following Three-Car Crash On I-695, Maryland State Police Say
Police have released new information after a woman from Baltimore was struck and killed by a driver in Anne Arundel County after running into the roadway following a crash on Saturday night. Deja Sharvon May, 26, has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash after being struck shortly before 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 on the outerloop of I-695 west of Maryland Route 295 in Linthicum Heights.
