Maryland School District Issues Strict Warning, Guidance For Athletic Events Following Fights Anne Arundel County Public School officials are implementing certain new restrictions for athletic and extracurricular events following an early season rash of fights and disruptions breaking out at games. Superintendent Mark Bedell said the district is putting new rules in place that he hopes will help curtail some of the unruly behavior that has been shown by students since the school year began.
