A man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following last week’s domestic-related shooting in Baltimore. Antawn Venable, 45, of Baltimore, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, police announced on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Baltimore Police say the 39-year-old female victim walked into a local hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds around 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2. Baltimore Murder Suspect Captured By US Marshals In New Jersey
Federal authorities finally caught up with a 21-year-old man wanted for a Baltimore murder in New Jersey, and have brought him back to Maryland to face charges. Members of the US Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Baltimore's Keion Moore earlier this month in the Aug. 6 killing of 29-year-old Codell Brown, authorities in Baltimore said. Police said only that Moore was lodged in the Bergen County Jail prior to his extradition on Friday, Dec. 15. Silver Alert Issued For Elderly Baltimore Woman
Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing elderly woman in Baltimore, authorities say. Mary Adkins, 86, was last seen on the 1000 block of East 33rd Street on Tuesday, June 7, Baltimore Police say. Adkins was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, black pants, and black shoes. She is 5-feet 2-inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Mary Adkins is urged to call 911.
