A study in Neurology by researchers from Mass General Brigham and Harvard indicates that diets high in processed red meats — like bacon, hot dogs, and sausage — were associated with a 13 percent increased risk of developing dementia. Missing Endangered Alert Canceled Pennsylvania Man Found In Maryland
A missing endangered person alert has been canceled for a South Central Pennsylvania man who was last seen in Maryland, police announced Wednesday night, Oct. 9. Harry Joseph Runkle was just 10 days shy of his 77th birthday when he went missing, according to the York County Regional Police. Runkle is from the 4900 block of N. Sherman Street in Mount Wolf, East Manchester Township, police explained. He had last been seen at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. A 49-year-old home healthcare worker that failed to check in on his patient, who was found injured after jumping out of a Frederick County apartment building will spend time behind bars, the state's attorney's office announced. An employee at a Maryland nursing home will spend years behind bars for her role in the death of a 75-year-old longterm healthcare patient who died after being knocked down, the Maryland AG announced. Obiageriaku Iheanacho, 36, of Batlimore, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, with all but seven suspended after she admitted to her role in the assault and death of Ellsworth Johnson-Bey, a dementia patient, last year. Alert Issued For Missing 70-Year-Old Maryland Man With 'Medical Issues
Seen him? Concerns are mounting in Maryland as local law enforcement agencies in Montgomery County attempt to track down a missing 70-year-old man. An alert was issued by the Rockville City Police Department as they seek the public's assistance in locating Dale Calvin Clukey, of College Parkway, who had not been seen in several days as of Thursday, Aug. 4.
